About Chandigarh University Lucknow Common Entrance Test (CUCET)
The Chandigarh University Lucknow Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is the entrance cum scholarship test for admission to various programs to provide an opportunity to bright and inquisitive young minds from across the country to study in a most challenging and diverse academic environment. The CUCET is aimed at recognizing the achievements, potential, and talent of students by providing a chance-to-all to earn a scholarship and study at Chandigarh University Lucknow, Lucknow campus in the futuristic and cutting-edge program of their choice. The test will be based on the syllabi of the concerned qualifying examination and aptitude for that subject.
Objective
The objective of this policy is to just establish the University's commitment to admitting deserving students on a merit basis and reward them with scholarships through the Chandigarh University Lucknow Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The policy also aims to provide transparency and objectivity in administering and disbursing Chandigarh University Lucknow Undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships.
The CUCET has been instituted to:
- Admit students of:
-Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.)
-Master of Business Administration (MBA)
on an entrance test basis only with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in qualifying examination or up to 50,000 rank in JEE - Recognise student achievement
- Giving all the students an additional opportunity to win scholarships
- Assist students to overcome financial barriers in undertaking quality higher education in the a course of their choice
- Support students to achieve professional success in the futuristic areas of education
Scope
This policy applies to all the applicants aspiring to pursue Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs at Chandigarh University Lucknow, Lucknow campus for scholarships
For Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), and Master of Business Administration (MBA), CUCET will be mandatory with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in the qualifying examination or up to 50,000 rank in JEE.

Scholarship Renewal Criteria
& Renewal Process
Scholarships once given will be for the entire duration of the program but subject to mandatory meeting of set norms which will be reviewed every year. Once the set norms are met, the scholarship shall be renewed.
